What If It’s Not Her, Then Who? is a drama inspired by true events about the transformation of a man who appears to lead a normal life, but who, on the inside, is trapped in routine, loneliness, and decisions that are taking him nowhere.

Bernie lives between work, his friends, beer, and relationships without real commitment. Over time, a series of personal, emotional, and spiritual experiences begins to change the course of his life.

In the midst of that transformation, he meets Temi, a woman who lives in Lagos. Convinced that he has found the person with whom he could build a future, he travels to Nigeria and then spends months trying to overcome the distance, legal requirements, and financial difficulties that separate them.

But one door after another closes.

As his plans begin to fall apart, Bernie must face his own decisions, accept what he cannot control, and discover that some answers arrive in a way very different from what we imagine.
